Auditions for Madison Shakespeare Company’s production of The Tragedy of Macbeth, directed by Francisco Torres, will be held Sunday May 15 and Monday May 16 at
Lakeview Moravian Community Church

Please enter the church on Hargrove St through the door labeled “OFFICE.”
No appointment necessary. Performers of all ages are invited to audition and will be considered for roles. Auditioners should choose the date which works best for their schedule. Please arrive at 7:30 PM.
Callbacks, if needed, will be held Wednesday May 18 at 7:30 PM.
Candidates should come prepared to perform a Shakespearean sonnet or soliloquy/monologue no longer than two minutes in length. Memorization is encouraged but not required. You may also be asked to read from the Macbeth text. Please also come prepared to fill out a conflict calendar, or better still, print and fill your own here.
Rehearsals will begin Sunday June 5, and will generally be Sunday-Thursday from 7-10 PM until tech begins. Rehearsals will primarily be held at Lakeview Moravian Community Church, with some outdoor rehearsals to be announced.
Madison Shakespeare Company returns to full-length productions with this timeless tale. Performances are July 21-24, outdoors at the Edgewood College Amphitheater, located behind The Stream building.
