The web of our life is of a mingled yarn, good and ill together.

All’s Well That Ends Well, directed by Kendra C. Thompson, performed July 23-August 1 at the Madison Country Day School amphitheater.

Madison Shakespeare Company’s 2021 summer comedy takes on the twisty turny tricksy trappings of incompatibly compatible Helena and Bertram, childhood friends on very different paths who just can’t stay out of each other’s lives.

All’s Well features one of Shakespeare’s strongest heroines in Helena de Narbon, a young woman who risks her life to practice medicine and braves a war to follow her heart.

All’s Well was one of the last comedies written by Shakespeare and is infrequently performed.

Performed outdoors at the spacious Madison Country Day School amphitheater, 5606 River Rd in Waunakee. Bring your own chair and/or lawn blanket for best comfort!

Performance time two hours including one brief intermission.
